The following is a general overview of the process for purchasing
a new home once you have selected a home and lot. Please feel
free to contact your Pacific Legacy Homes sales representative
or project manager with any questions.
Non-Binding
Reservation Deposit
A non-binding deposit is required to reserve and hold the home
site you’ve chosen and to lock in the price of your new
home. Your home site and sales price will be locked in for seven
days from the date of the non-binding deposit to agreement of
sale date.
Agreement
of Sale
Your agreement of sale is signed within seven days of reserving
your home site. An earnest deposit is required when you sign your
agreement of sale. The amount of your down payment will be reviewed
with you by the Pacific Legacy Homes sales professional. Homeowner’s
association documentation will be supplied for your review, if
applicable.
Structural Options
The structural options will be discussed with you by the sales
professional and project manager.
Mortgage Financing
A Countrywide Home Loans representative will contact you to discuss
financing options. Countrywide Home Loans is an industry leader
with one of the widest loan programs available. Your mortgage
loan application must be completed at the signing of your agreement
of sale.
Decorator Options
Pacific Legacy Homes offers a wide selection of design options
to personalize your home. After you have signed your agreement
of sale, you will be provided information about design options
offered for your community.
